Maulana Abdul Waris

Maulana Abdul Waris, President - Malegarh Block Congress Committee, Karimganj, Assam, India. He was the Chairman of Karimganj District OBC Development Board under the Government of Assam from 2015 to 2021. He is also involved in various religious and social organizations. He was the Caretaker of Barak Zone of All Assam Imam Council and Karimganj District President. He is currently working as a Regional Qazi under the North East India Emarat E Shariah and Nadwatut Tameer . Maulana Waris was born on 1st February 1983 in Lafashail village. His father's name is Maulana Abdur Rahman and mother's name is Rayhana Begum. He obtained his M.M. degree with distinction from Deorail Title Madras
